Hitesh Singh Rao is an IIT Roorkee graduate who felt the loneliness of preparation firsthand: during JEE prep, during his drop year, and even while chasing internships and placements in college. Peerzy is what he wished had existed then.
Today, Peerzy connects students and graduates across JEE, NEET, college placements, DSA, UPSC, CAT, and more, because the peer gap is the same regardless of the exam.

Founder Story
Hitesh prepared for JEE through Class 11 and 12 at offline coaching in his city. That part was fine — real classrooms, real people. Then COVID hit during his drop year. Preparation moved fully online. Suddenly he was one of hundreds watching the same lectures on the same platforms, and somehow completely alone. No one to bounce a doubt off at midnight. No one to share the low of a bad mock test. He was technically surrounded by people preparing the same thing, and genuinely unsupported.
Getting into IIT Roorkee changed everything. He found friends who were genuinely invested in each other. Friends who stayed up till 4 AM the night before placement interviews — solving coding questions, puzzles, and guesstimates together. Maggi runs at 2 AM because the night felt too long to grind alone. When his internship season came, when a concept refused to click, when anxiety crept in before results, there was always someone to call. That is when he truly understood what the right peer does for you.
After graduating, Hitesh saw that EdTech had transformed India. But the peer gap had not been touched. And it is more nuanced than it looks. Many students in Kota, studying at Allen or Motion or Resonance, have friends around them and feel supported. That is real and worth acknowledging. But there are also students, even in the same institutes, who at midnight after a bad test feel completely alone. No one to call. No one who gets it. That specific gap, for that specific student, is exactly what Peerzy is built for.
Why is there no purpose-built space for students to find the right peers? Not a social feed. Not another course platform. Somewhere you browse real profiles, see who is strong in what, send a connection request, and start a real conversation. Where you find a study partner, and sometimes the friend who keeps you going on the hardest nights. That question became Peerzy.
“Whenever I studied with the right people, the learning was just different. A concept that took me three days alone could unlock in an afternoon with the right peer.”

How Peerzy Fills the Gap
On Peerzy, you browse real student profiles across India. You see who they are, what exam they are preparing for, and where they need support. You send a connection request to the ones who complement you. Once they accept, you chat. You do not just find a study partner. Sometimes you find the friend who keeps you going on the nights when the preparation feels impossible.
And this is not just for JEE and NEET anymore. Whether you are a college student preparing for placements and grinding DSA questions at 2 AM the night before your interview, or a graduate working through UPSC Mains answer writing or CAT mock tests, the peer gap is the same. The loneliness of high-stakes preparation does not change based on the exam. Peerzy is built for all of it.
Alongside Peerzy, Hitesh creates content on YouTube and Instagram about JEE prep, college life, and the founder journey, and runs mentorship sessions for students and young founders. The belief is simple: the right people around you change everything.
From Class 9 board preparation to UPSC Mains, the peer gap exists everywhere. Peerzy is the platform that fills it, across every exam and every stage of an Indian student's journey.

Medical aspirants need structured peer learning as much as any JEE student. Connect with NEET peers across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics preparation.
UPSC CSE is a two-year solo grind for most. CAT prep feels isolating. Peerzy connects you with peers at the same preparation stage, with the same optional subject or the same target percentile.
Banking exams (IBPS, SBI PO), SSC CGL, and state government exams have millions of aspirants preparing alone. Peerzy brings them together.
Product management prep, UI/UX design portfolios, data science projects, open source contributions, hackathons. Peerzy connects people building the same thing.
No student should have to prepare alone. Not the JEE aspirant in a Kota hostel. Not the college student grinding DSA at midnight. Not the UPSC aspirant spending years in silence. Peerzy exists to make sure they do not have to.
